THE FESTIVAL

Set in Agios Nikolaos, one of the most beautiful seaside towns of Greece, the first blueFest Crete is a culture festival marking the revival of a long tradition that started 30 years ago. As the year of 2018 was designated the year of European Cultural Heritage, the G. & A. Mamidakis Foundation took the initiative to link the rich cultural heritage of Greece with new and traditional forms of artistic expression, by organizing a celebration of summer and culture, featuring visual arts, cinema, theatre and music.

blueFest Crete 19

The G. & A. Mamidakis Foundation organizes the blueFest Crete | Culture & Beyond festival for the second year on July 13th-14th 2019, at Minos Beach art hotel, a member of bluegr Hotels & Resorts, in Agios Nikolaos Crete. With a long history and with the aim to highlight the cultural heritage of the country, promote the work of Greek artists and strengthen the links between tourism and culture, this year, blueFest Crete 19 presents artistic and gastronomic activities with the backdrop of one of the most beautiful places in Crete.
